Bidding and Buying on CryptoMart
Step 1: Find a Listing
Visit the CryptoMart marketplace and filter by category, condition, listing type, auction status, price, or closing time. Review the photos, full description, shipping terms, seller reputation, and accepted settlement options before acting.
Step 2: Bid or Buy
For an auction:
- Review the current USD bid, minimum increment, end time, and reserve status
- Enter your maximum USD bid
- Confirm the bid; proxy bidding increases the visible price only as needed
- Watch the auction for outbid notices or anti-sniping extensions
For Buy It Now:
- Select the quantity when multiple units are available
- Review the fixed USD total and shipping cost
- Enter a confirmed shipping address for physical goods
- Complete the Buy It Now action
Step 3: Select Crypto Settlement
After winning or buying:
- Choose a token and blockchain from the seller's accepted combinations
- Review the exact crypto amount and quote expiry
- Fund the generated 2-of-3 multisig escrow address before the deadline
- If an unfunded quote expires, refresh it; your USD obligation remains fixed
Step 4: Track Delivery
The seller cannot mark a physical order shipped until blockchain monitoring confirms escrow funding. Once shipped, use the order page to view the carrier, tracking number, and tracking URL.
Step 5: Confirm or Dispute
Inspect the item when it arrives. Confirm delivery to begin the seller-release process, or open a dispute and provide evidence if the item is missing or materially different from the listing.
Buyer Safeguards
- Bid obligations and listing prices remain authoritative in USD
- Seller-approved settlement choices are enforced by the order quote
- Shipment is gated on independently confirmed escrow funding
- Adjudication supports buyer refund, seller release, or split outcomes
