Crypto Auction Marketplace: Bid in USD, Pay with Crypto
Use CryptoMart for USD crypto auctions and Buy It Now listings with seller-approved token settlement, multisig escrow, shipping, and disputes.
CryptoMart is a peer-to-peer crypto auction marketplace where listings and bids are authoritative in USD. Buyers can bid, use Buy It Now, then settle through a seller-approved token and blockchain using an exact quote and 2-of-3 multisig escrow.
A Crypto Auction Marketplace with USD Bidding
CryptoMart combines familiar online auction formats with cryptocurrency settlement. Buyers compare prices and place bids in USD, while sellers choose the supported tokens and blockchains they are prepared to accept after a sale.
This separates two different jobs:
- USD is the bidding and pricing unit — a winning obligation does not change when crypto markets move
- Cryptocurrency is the settlement method — an exact, expiring quote converts the USD total into a seller-approved token and chain
Three Listing Formats
Buy It Now
A fixed-price listing lets a buyer purchase immediately at the published USD price, subject to available quantity and seller terms.
Auction
An auction has a USD starting price, minimum increment, scheduled end time, and optional private reserve. Bidders can enter a maximum amount, and proxy bidding raises the visible bid only as much as needed.
Auction with Buy It Now
This format allows bids and an immediate purchase option. The listing's Buy It Now policy controls when that option remains available. Bid and purchase requests use the same atomic auction state so two buyers cannot both win the same unit.
How CryptoMart Bidding Works
- Open a public auction and review the product, seller, shipping, current bid, end time, minimum increment, and accepted settlement options
- Enter a maximum USD bid
- The auction engine validates the state and bid in a serialized database transaction
- Proxy bidding calculates the smallest valid leading amount
- A qualifying late bid can extend the close under the published anti-sniping rules
- An idempotent closing worker records the winner and final USD obligation
Public pages can show the current bid, bid count, reserve status, and closing time. They do not publish bidder identities, proxy maximums, or the private reserve amount.
Paying with Seller-Approved Crypto
After a buyer wins or uses Buy It Now:
- The buyer chooses from the listing's accepted token and blockchain combinations
- CryptoMart creates an exact quote for the USD obligation, shipping, and applicable fees
- The quote states the precise crypto amount and expiry time
- The buyer funds the generated 2-of-3 multisig escrow address
- Independent blockchain monitoring confirms the required amount and confirmation depth
If an unfunded quote expires, the buyer can request a new conversion. The USD obligation remains fixed even though the required crypto amount may change with the market.
Escrow, Shipping, and Disputes
CryptoMart's post-sale workflow is designed around 2-of-3 multisig custody involving the buyer, seller, and adjudicator. Shipment remains unavailable until the funding monitor independently confirms escrow funding.
For physical items, sellers add a carrier, tracking number, and tracking URL. Buyers inspect delivery before confirming. If the item does not arrive or differs materially from the listing, either party can open a dispute and submit evidence.
Adjudication supports three outcomes:
- Buyer refund
- Seller release
- Split release
A release is not marked complete merely because an execution attempt was made; pending or failed custody actions remain retryable and visible to the order workflow.

Better Listing Quality Helps Buyers and Search Visibility
Sellers should use a specific title, original photos, a complete condition report, included-accessory details, shipping limits, and an accurate description. Test records, example inventory, unapproved listings, and incomplete listings are excluded from search-engine discovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are CryptoMart bids placed in Bitcoin or another token?
No. Listings, bids, proxy maximums, reserves, and winning obligations are authoritative in USD. Cryptocurrency is selected for settlement after the purchase or auction closes.
Can a seller accept every cryptocurrency?
Only token-and-blockchain combinations the seller selects and CryptoMart actually supports for the settlement flow are available. Unsupported combinations are not advertised as capable.
Is the reserve price public?
No. Buyers can see whether a reserve applies and whether it has been met, but the reserve amount remains private.
Can a seller ship before payment is confirmed?
No. Shipment is gated until independent blockchain monitoring confirms the escrow funding state.
What happens if a winning bidder does not pay?
The payment window and default workflow apply. Seller tools can support relisting or an eligible second-chance offer without changing the recorded auction history.
