Hire or sell services paid in cryptocurrency. Eligible gigs can use escrow and the platform dispute process. Delivery risk remains.
OTC and large-value escrow
Supported high-value routes can use the same 2-of-3 model. Confirm signers, funding, and recovery terms on the live transaction.
What escrow does and does not do
- Eligible 2-of-3 escrow stops a single party from releasing funds unilaterally.
- It does not eliminate counterparty, payment, shipping, key-management, contract, or network risk.
- Bonds, Lightning, Tor, and mainnet custody are not claimed here unless the live product flags show they are enabled.

- Does every order use escrow?
- No. An escrow label does not prove that the selected live route is funded or supported. Review custody, signers, contract, release, refund, dispute, and recovery state before sending funds.
- How is 2-of-3 multisig different from a custodial marketplace?
- Eligible escrow uses three keys. Release needs two signatures, so no single party can move funds unilaterally. CoinExchange.Cash does not ask users to surrender wallet private keys. Key-management, contract, and dispute risks remain.
