How does private P2P crypto trading work?
You browse trade offers, agree on terms with a counterparty, and the seller’s crypto is locked in 2-of-3 multisig escrow. After the buyer confirms payment, both parties sign to release the funds. No identity documents are exchanged.
What happens if the other party does not complete the trade?
If there is a dispute, either party can request arbitration. The platform arbitrator reviews evidence from both sides and signs with the party deemed correct, releasing the escrowed funds.
Is it safe to trade on a non-custodial exchange?
Yes. Non-custodial is actually safer than custodial because there is no central point of failure. Unlike Celsius or FTX, your funds cannot be misappropriated because the exchange never holds them.
